PITTSBURGH, Nov. 24 (UPI) -- Tino Sunseri threw two touchdown passes Saturday to lead Pittsburgh to a 27-6 win over No. 19 Rutgers.

Sunseri was 21-of-19 passing for 227 yards for the Panthers (5-6, 2-4 Big East), who need a win over South Florida next weekend to become bowl eligible.

Ray Graham ran for 113 yards and a touchdown, and Mike Shanahan pulled in a 16-yard TD pass in the first quarter to open the scoring.

The Panthers scored 21 points in the second quarter. Kevin Harper kicked two field goals in the second half.

Gary Nova was 18-of-37 passes for 157 yards, with one touchdown and one interception for Rutgers (9-2, 5-1), which can win the Big East championship with a victory over Louisville Thursday.
