YPSILANTI, Mich., Nov. 23 (UPI) -- Akeem Daniels rushed for four touchdowns Friday in leading the No. 23 Northern Illinois Huskies to a 49-7 rout of the Eastern Michigan Eagles.

Daniels, who had four touchdown in his first 11 games this season, had a touchdown in each quarter Friday and ended up with 112 yards on 12 carries as the Huskies completed their regular season 11-1 -- including 8-0 in the Mid-American Conference.

Northern Illinois will meet No. 25 Kent State, which is also 11-1 and 8-0 after a 28-6 win Friday over Ohio, in the MAC Champion game next week.

Eastern Michigan ended the season with a five-game losing streak that left the Eagles 2-10 overall and 1-7 in the MAC.

Daniels opened the scoring with a 25-yard run with 5:35 left in the first quarter.

Eastern Michigan drove 82 yards on the next possession for a touchdown, with Matt Boyd catching a Tyler Benz pass for a 20-yard scoring play -- but Willie Clark took the ensuing kickoff 93 yards for a Huskies touchdown and Northern Illinois never looked back.

Daniels had a 20-yard scoring run in the second quarter and Martel Moore turned a pass from Jordan Lynch into a 56-yard touchdown for a 28-7 halftime lead.

Daniels scored on a 19-yard run in the third quarter and added a 16-yard run in the fourth. Jacob Brinlee wrapped up the Huskies' scoring with an 11-yard touchdown run with 1:23 left in the game.
