2. Kansas State (10-1) lost at Baylor (5-5) 52-24

3. Notre Dame (11-0) defeated Wake Forest (5-6) 38-0

4. Georgia (10-1) defeated Georgia Southern (8-3) 45-14

5. Alabama (10-1) defeated Western Carolina (1-10) 49-0

6. Florida State (10-1) won at Maryland (4-7) 41-14

7. Florida (10-1) defeated Jacksonville State (6-5) 23-0

8. Louisiana State (9-2) defeated Mississippi (5-6) 41-35

9. Clemson (10-1) defeated North Carolina State (6-5) 62-48

10. Texas A&M (9-2) defeated Sam Houston State (8-3) 47-28.

11. South Carolina (9-2) defeated Wofford (8-3) 24-7

12. Oklahoma (8-2) won at West Virginia (5-5) 50-49
