CINCINNATI, Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Savon Huggins rushed for 179 yards on 41 carries Saturday and No. 22 Rutgers beat Cincinnati 10-3 to remain undefeated in the Big East.
Gary Nova completed 11-of-19 passed for 189 yards and a touchdown for Rutgers (9-1, 5-0 Big East) which won its second straight game.
Mark Harrison caught four passes for 106 yards and scored the only touchdown for the Scarlet Knights, who picked up 234 yards rushing to 90 for the Bearcats (7-3, 3-2).
Cincinnati saw its two-game winning streak end. The Bearcats accumulated 341 yards of total offense but needed a 36-yard field goal from Tony Milano with 11 seconds left in the game to dodge the shutout.
