CLEMSON, S.C., Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Tajh Boyd hurled five touchdown passes and added three rushing scores Saturday, propelling ninth-ranked Clemson to a 62-48 win over North Carolina State.

Boyd amassed 418 passing yards on 29-of-43 efficiency with two interceptions as the Tigers (10-1, 7-1 ACC) set an ACC record with 754 total yards.

Clemson -- which lost the ACC Atlantic Division title to Florida State -- will look to improve its chances for a BCS bowl bid in its final regular season game next week against against South Carolina.

North Carolina State (6-5, 3-4) was paced by receiver/kick returner Tobais Palmer, who racked up 496 all-purpose yards, including 219 through the air with three TDs on seven catches.

Palmer's single-game totals were the second-most ever in FBS history.

The Wolfpack's Mike Glennon fired five TD passes en route to 493 yards on 29-of-53 efficiency.
