TUSCALOOSA, Ala., Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Eddie Lacy racked up three rushing touchdowns and AJ McCarron threw for a score Saturday in fifth-ranked Alabama's 49-0 rout of Western Carolina.

Lacy ran for 99 yards while McCarron went 6-for-6 through the air for 133 yards as the Crimson Tide (10-1) rebounded from their first loss of the season last week against Texas A&M.

McCarron was replaced by Blake Sims in the second quarter after the Tide had built up a big early lead. He ran for a TD en route to 70 rushing yards on eight carries while also completing 2-of-6 passes for 27 yards.

Troy Mitchell and Eddie Sullivan completed only 8-of-20 passes combined for 93 yards for Western Carolina (1-10).
