TOLEDO, Ohio, Nov. 7 (UPI) -- Jahwan Edwards turned in a tiebreaking, 15-yard touchdown run late in the fourth quarter Tuesday, boosting Ball State over No. 25 Toledo 34-27.

Edwards finished with 105 yards on 16 carries for the Cardinals (7-3, 4-2 MAC), who snapped Toledo's eight-game winning streak.

Keith Wenning hurled a trio of TD passes, completing 29-of-42 passes for 281 yards with three interceptions, and Ball State's defense stopped a last-chance Toledo drive to seal the win.

The Rockets (8-2, 5-1) fell despite 200 yards on 34 carries from David Fluellen, but he also lost a key fumble.
