LAWRENCE, Kan., Oct. 27 (UPI) -- A touchdown pass to D.J. Grant in the final seconds Saturday rallied No. 24 Texas to 21-17 victory over Kansas.
Grant stepped into the end zone and grabbed a 1-yard toss from Casey McCoy with 12 seconds left on the clock, capping a 70-yard Texas scoring drive.
The Longhorns (6-2, 3-2 Big 12) outscored the Jayhawks (1-7, 0-5) 14-3 in the second half but trailed 17-14 with 2:28 to play after Nick Prolago kicked a 29-yard field goal for Kansas.
