COL FB: Nebraska 23, Michigan 9

LINCOLN, Neb., Oct. 27 (UPI) -- Ameer Abdullah ran for 101 yards with a score and Taylor Martinez threw a TD pass Saturday to spark Nebraska's 23-9 upset of No. 20 Michigan.

Martinez went 14-of-24 passing for 166 yards and added 58 rushing yards on 14 carries. Abdullah carried the ball 24 times for Nebraska (6-2, 3-1 Big Ten).

The Cornhuskers notched their second straight Big Ten Conference victory with the upending of the Wolverines.

Michigan (5-3, 3-1) sustained a blow when starting quarterback Denard Robinson was forced to leave the game in the second quarter after injuring his elbow.

Russell Bellomy came in and was picked off three times, managing to complete just 3-of-16 passes for 38 yards.
