TOLEDO, Ohio, Oct. 20 (UPI) -- Jeremiah Detmer connected on all five of his field goal attempts Saturday and Toledo turned back a late charge to seal its 29-23 win over No. 18 Cincinnati.

Detmer's final boot -- a 25-yarder with 42 seconds to play -- gave Toledo (7-1) a six-point margin and Jordan Haden intercepted a Munchie Legaux pass to quell the Bearcats' last-gasp drive.

Terrance Owens went 13-of-24 through the air for 126 yards and added 50 rushing yards on 14 carries as the Rockets claimed their seventh straight victory. They beat a ranked opponent for the first time since 2004.

David Fluellen carried the ball 25 times for 161 yards in the win.

Legaux was held to 227 passing yards on 15-of-36 efficiency and rushed for 69 yards with a score on 10 carries for Cincinnati (5-1).
