LOUISVILLE, Ky., Oct. 20 (UPI) -- Teddy Bridgewater's go-ahead touchdown pass late in the game Saturday sent 14th-ranked and undefeated Louisville past South Florida 27-25.

Bridgewater connected on 5-of-7 passes on Louisville's final drive, capped by an 11-yard TD toss to Eli Rogers with 1:34 remaining that erased a 25-21 deficit.

He also contributed added rushing yards on 10 carries as the Cardinals (7-0, 2-0) continued their best start since 2006.

But Louisville had to survive a last-chance effort by the Bulls (2-5, 0-3 Big East) after DeDe Lattimore blocked the extra point.

B.J. Daniels hurled a Hail Mary pass on the final play, but it was intercepted by Adrian Bushell to seal the Cardinals' win.

Daniels completed 21-of-38 passes for 189 yards and three touchdowns and an interception.
