PISCATAWAY, N.J., Oct. 6 (UPI) -- Wayne Warren scored on a 25-yard touchdown return Saturday, one of five turnovers forced by 21st-ranked Rutgers in its 19-3 victory over Connecticut.

Gary Nova went 18-of-27 through the air for 157 yards and tossed a 14-yard scoring pass to Mark Harrison for the game's only offensive touchdown, as the Scarlet Knights (5-0, 2-0 Big East) won a game as a ranked team for the first time since 2007.

Jawan Jamison amassed 110 rushing yards for Rutgers, which began the season 5-0 for only the third time since 1976.

Lyle McCombs finished with 32 yards on 12 carries for the Huskies (3-3, 0-1).
