LOS ANGELES, Sept. 22 (UPI) -- Silas Redd and Curtis McNeal combined for 273 rushing yards Saturday, powering 12th-ranked Southern California to a 27-9 win over California.

Redd racked up 158 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries. McNeal added 115 yards on 10 tries for the Trojans (3-1, 1-1 Pac-12).

Matt Barkley passed for 192 yards and two TDs on 22-of-34 efficiency.

Eleven of his completions and both scoring strikes went to Marqise Lee, who compiled 94 yards.

The Golden Bears (1-3, 0-1) were led by Zach Maynard, who completed 18-of-33 passes for 173 yards and two interceptions.

Keenan Allen made nine catches for 94 yards for California.
