KNOXVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 17 (UPI) -- Safety Brian Randolph, the Tennessee Volunteers' leading tackler, is out for the rest of the season with knee injury, Coach Derek Dooley said Monday.

The sophomore had 22 tackles for the Volunteers this season before he tore an anterior cruciate ligament Saturday in the fourth quarter of the Volunteers' 37-20 home loss to Florida.

"I hurt for Brian, but he'll be fine and we'll move on," Dooley said.

The Vols will play at home against Akron Saturday.
