Dad who drowned sons gets death penalty

MORGANTOWN, W.Va., Sept. 15 (UPI) -- Geno Smith fired five touchdown passes on his way to 411 yards Saturday, sparking eighth-ranked West Virginia's 42-12 whipping of James Madison.
Smith connected on 34 of his 39 pass attempts, with 13 of the completions going to Stedman Bailey. The junior wideout amassed 173 yards and three touchdowns for the Mountaineers (2-0).
Tavon Austin made 11 grabs for 113 yards and a touchdown in the win.
The Dukes (2-1) were led by Jordan Anderson, who compiled 75 rushing yards.
