COL FB: Kansas State 35, North Texas 21

MANHATTAN, Kan., Sept. 15 (UPI) -- Collin Klein's three scores Saturday -- two passing and one running -- powered 14th-ranked Kansas State to a 35-21 victory over North Texas.

Klein finished with 230 aerial yards with an interception -- completing 15-of-20 passes -- and rushed for 85 yards for the Wildcats (3-0).

Tramaine Thompson amassed 102 receiving yards with two scores, while Chris Harper had five grabs en route to 78 yards for the victors.

North Texas (1-2) lost despite an efficient performance from Derek Thompson, who went 25-of-28 passing for 208 yards and a touchdown.
