EL PASO, Texas, Sept. 2 (UPI) -- Landry Jones tossed two TD passes and Kenny Stills made seven grabs Saturday to pace fourth-ranked Oklahoma's 24-7 season-opening win over Texas-El Paso.

Jones compiled 222 yards, going 21-of-36 through the air, while Stills made a scoring reception en route to 121 yards for the Sooners (1-0).

Oklahoma was led on the ground by Damien Williams, who ran for 104 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries.

Nathan Jeffery gained 177 rushing yards on 21 attempts for the Miners (0-1).
