ATHENS, Ga., Sept. 1 (UPI) -- Todd Gurley rushed for 100 yards and scored three touchdowns, including one on a 100-yard return Saturday, in No. 6 Georgia's 45-23 win over Buffalo.

Gurley scored twice on the ground while quarterback Aaron Murray went 15-of-26 through the air for 258 yards and three TDs for the Bulldogs (1-0).

Rantavious Wooten and Michael Bennett each caught a TD pass and Tavarres King amassed 117 yards with a score on six receptions for Georgia.

The Bulls (0-1) got a 14-of-24 passing performance from Alex Zordich. The Buffalo signal-caller tossed for 148 yards and a touchdown.
