BELLFONTE, Pa., June 11 (UPI) -- A Centre County, Pa., judge ordered former Penn State football Coach Joe Paterno's last will and testament sealed permanently.

The judge removed Paterno's will from public view in April, three months after his death. The petition to seal Paterno's will and the judge's sealing order were also removed, the Wilkes-Barre (Pa.) Citizen's Voice reported.

Attorney Jerry Chariton called the action "very strange."

"Would there be reasons why any family would like to preserve confidentiality? Sure, but that would be true of lots of people. I don't know what creates any special situation here," Chariton said.

Paterno died Jan. 22 of lung cancer shortly after former assistant coach Jerry Sandusky was accused of sexually abusing a number of boys he met through a charity for at-risk youths.
