COLUMBIA, Mo., May 16 (UPI) -- University of Missouri quarterback Corbin Berkstresser was released on bond after being arrested on charges of leaving the scene of an accident, police said.

Berkstresser, 20, was arrested by police in Columbia, Mo., after his vehicle struck a parked car and he failed to stop to notify the owner, the Columbia Missourian reported Wednesday.

No one was injured in the accident.

Police said Berkstresser could face a felony charge for damaging another vehicle if the damage to the parked car is more than $1,000.
