STATE COLLEGE, Pa., April 9 (UPI) -- The judge presiding over former Penn State assistant football Coach Jerry Sandusky's child abuse case issued a gag order Monday.

Judge John M. Cleland barred prosecutors and Sandusky's defense team from speaking publicly about the case until the man's trial in June, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.

The gag order also applies to anyone involved in the ongoing investigation and potential witnesses in the trial.

Sandusky was arrested in November on child sex abuse charges after being accused of having sexual relations with young boys.

Prosecutors alleged Sandusky molested 10 boys in a 15-year period.

Sandusky, who has denied the allegations, will be under house arrest while he awaits his June 5 trial on more than 50 counts of child sex abuse.
