Warrant out for Marcus Vick

NEWPORT NEWS, Va., Feb. 28 (UPI) -- An arrest warrant was issued Tuesday for Marcus Vick, a former Virginia Tech football player and brother of NFL player Michael Vick, a court clerk said.

Newport News, Va., Circuit Court Judge David Pugh ordered the younger Vick's arrest the day after he failed to turn himself in to the city jail, the Newport News Daily Press reported.

Marcus Vick faces 10 days in jail for contempt of court after twice failing to appear to answer to a charge of driving on a suspended sentence. The suspended license charge dates to Jan. 22, 2010.
