NEW YORK, Dec. 30 (UPI) -- Jawan Jamison ran for two touchdowns and Brandon Coleman added an 86-yard scoring reception Friday in Rutgers' 27-13 win over Iowa State in the Pinstripe Bowl.

Jamison rushed for 134 yards, including second-quarter rushes of 1 and 12 yards for scores in helping the Scarlet Knights improve to 9-4. Iowa State ends the season 6-7.

The Rutgers defense limited the Cyclones to a pair of first-quarter field goals until Jeff Woody broke loose for a 20-yard scoring run with 10 minutes to play. That got Iowa State within 20-13.

Rutgers took over at its own 13 and, after a 1-yard run by Jamison, Chas Dodd threw deep down the left side for Coleman, who fought off a defender to make the catch and then raced for the clinching score.

Iowa State quickly moved the ball downfield but had a fourth-down pass go incomplete in the end zone. The Cyclones had one more possession but that ended with a Logan Ryan interception.

Zach Guyer had field goals of 40 and 45 yards in the first period for the Cyclones but Rutgers answered with 17 second-period points with Jamison's touchdowns coming around a 21-yard San San Te field goal for an 11-point halftime lead.

Te added a 29-yard field goal early in the fourth quarter before Iowa State got its touchdown from Woody.
