
FORT WORTH, Texas, Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Waymon James scored twice Saturday and 17th-ranked Texas Christian racked up six rushing touchdowns in their 56-9 rout of Nevada-Las Vegas.
Matthew Tucker found the end zone en route to 57 rushing yards. Ed Wesley, quarterback Casey Pachall and Matt Brown also ran for scores for the Horned Frogs (10-2, 7-0 Mountain West).
Pachall racked up 183 passing yards on 15-of-22 efficiency, hitting Brandon Carter three times for 66 yards, while Antoine Hicks made four grabs for 22 yards as TCU won its third straight Mountain West title.
Their chances for a BCS bowl game berth were helped when previously undefeated Houston was beaten in the Conference USA Championship game. TCU must finish in the top 16 of Sunday's BCS Standings to get a bid.
Nolan Kohorst booted three field goals for UNLV (2-10, 1-6).
