IRVING, Texas, Nov. 13 (UPI) -- Louisiana State and Oklahoma State maintained their grip on the top two spots of the latest BCS college football standings released Sunday.
Alabama, meanwhile, was ranked third for the second straight week, fending off a challenge from Oregon, which knocked Stanford from the ranks of the unbeaten Saturday with a 53-30 win.
The Cardinal's loss dropped them from fourth to ninth, while another previously unbeaten team, Boise State, plummeted from fifth to 10th following its loss to Texas Christian.
Placing fifth through eighth were Oklahoma, Arkansas, Clemson and Virginia Tech.
