ATHENS, Ga., Nov. 12 (UPI) -- Aaron Murray fired four touchdown passes Saturday and 16th-ranked Georgia moved closer to an SEC division title with a 45-7 rout of No. 25 Auburn.
Isaiah Crowell racked up 132 rushing yards and a score, complementing Carlton Thomas, who ran for 127 rushing yards as the Bulldogs (8-2, 6-1 SEC) logged their eighth straight win.
Georgia's 6-1 conference record put it a half-game ahead of South Carolina (6-2) atop the SEC's Eastern Division. The Bulldogs will have a chance to wrap up the title next week with a win over Kentucky.
The Tigers (6-4, 4-3) got a 140-yard receiving performance from Clint Moseley and C.J. Uzomah passed for a touchdown.
