COLUMBUS, Ohio, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- Backup running back Jaamal Berry was suspended from the Ohio State Buckeyes after being charged Wednesday with punching a man.
Berry is accused of hitting and taunting a 21-year-old Delaware County man in a parking garage Oct. 21. He is charged with misdemeanor counts of assault and disorderly conduct, The Columbus Dispatch reported.

The OSU Athletics Department said in a statement Berry violated the school's student-athlete code of conduct and was suspended "until charges filed against him have been resolved."
The alleged victim sued Berry, a fourth-string running back and kickoff returner, over the incident last week, the newspaper said.
