COL FB: Kansas State 24, Missouri 17

MANHATTAN, Kan., Oct. 8 (UPI) -- Quarterback Collin Klein rushed for three touchdowns and passed for 112 yards Saturday, lifting No. 21 Kansas State to a 24-17 win over Missouri.

Klein picked up 45 rushing yards and went 11-of-16 through the air while John Hubert amassed 126 rushing yards on 26 carries for the Wildcats (5-0, 2-0 Big 12).

Sheldon Smith contributed 29 yards on four receptions while Chris Harper made a pair of catches for 37 yards for Kansas State.

The Tigers (2-3, 0-2) were led by James Franklin, who connected on 19 of his 35 pass attempts for 214 yards and one interception while running 11 times for 46 yards and a score.
