TUSCALOOSA, Ala., Sept. 24 (UPI) -- Trent Richardson accounted for 211 yards of offense and caught a scoring strike Saturday, powering second-ranked Alabama's 38-14 win over No. 12 Arkansas.

Richardson rushed for 126 yards on 17 carries and also racked up 85 yards and a touchdown on three receptions for Alabama (4-0, 1-0) in the Southeastern Conference opener for both teams.

The Crimson Tide's AJ McCarron completed 15-of-20 pass attempts for 200 yards and two scores.

The Razorbacks (3-1, 0-1) lost despite a good day from Tyler Wilson, who went 22-for-35 for 185 yards and two touchdowns.

On the receiving end of the Arkansas TD passes were Dennis Johnson and Cobi Hamilton.
