COL FB: Wisconsin 49, Northern Illinois 7

CHICAGO, Sept. 17 (UPI) -- Russell Wilson amassed 347 yards passing Saturday and connected on three TD passes en route to No. 8 Wisconsin's 49-7 win over Northern Illinois.

Wilson went 23-for-32 passing and also had an interception for the Badgers (3-0), who continued their hot offensive start to the season. They have scored 135 points in their first three games.

Montee Ball scored twice -- each on 1-yard TD runs -- and Nick Toon hauled down a pair of scoring passes in Wisconsin's win.

The Huskies (1-2) got a 15-for-24 performance from Chandler Harnish, who compiled 165 yards.
