LINCOLN, Neb., Sept. 17 (UPI) -- Rex Burkhead ran for two touchdowns and No. 10 Nebraska racked up 308 rushing yards Saturday in its 51-38 victory over Washington.
Burkhead carried the ball 22 times for 120 yards, and Taylor Martinez scrambled 17 times for 81 yards and a score for the Cornhuskers (3-0).
Martinez also had a good day passing, completing 10-of-21 passes for 156 yards and two touchdowns.
Washington (2-1) was led by Keith Price, who connected on 21-of-37 passes for 275 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions.
Chris Polk compiled 130 rushing yards and a TD on 22 carries. James Johnson caught six passes for 108 yards and two scores.
