CHAMPAIGN, Ill., Sept. 17 (UPI) -- A.J. Jenkins' 16-yard TD reception in the fourth quarter Saturday lifted Illinois to a 17-14 upset of 18th-ranked Arizona State.
Jenkins led the Illini (3-0) with 103 yards on six catches while Nathan Scheelhaase completed 11-of-15 passes for 135 yards and the strike to Jenkins.

Scheelhaase was picked off once and added 67 rushing yards on 18 carries.
The Sun Devils (2-1) lost for the first time this year after earlier beating California-Davis and Missouri.
They were led by Brock Osweiler, who tossed for 256 yards and one touchdown but also surrendered a pair of interceptions.
Gerell Robinson scored once en route 88 yards on eight grabs for Arizona State.
