STARKVILLE, Miss. -- Fifth-ranked Kentucky nearly blew an 18-point second-half lead, but held on to defeat Mississippi State 88-81 on Tuesday night for their 11th straight victory over the Bulldogs. De'Aaron Fox paced the Wildcats (16-2, 6-0 SEC) with 21 points, five assists and five rebounds. Malik Monk scored 14, Wenyen Gabriel recorded 13 points and eight rebounds and Isaiah Briscoe scored 12.

Kentucky shot 50.8 percent from the field, making more than half its shots for the sixth straight game. The Wildcats' streak of shooting 50 percent from the field entering the contest was their longest since the 1991-92 season and longest in the SEC since 1983-84.
Mississippi State (12-5, 3-2) got 25 points and seven rebounds from Lamar Peters. Quinndary Weatherspoon scored 15 and Mario Kegler had 13 points and eight rebounds for the Bulldogs, who had their three-game winning streak snapped.
No. 6 Baylor 74, Texas 64
WACO, Texas -- Johnathan Motley recorded 32 points and 20 rebounds as the Bears raced past the Longhorns.
Motely scored Baylor's first six points of the second half for a double-digit lead that effectively put away Texas. Nuni Omot scored 14 and Al Freeman had 10 for the Bears (17-1, 5-1 Big 12).
Jarrett Allen scored 17 points to lead the Longhorns (7-11, 1-5). Andrew Jones added 15 and Shaquille Cleare had 14 before fouling out with 10:42 to play. Texas shot only 36 percent from the field in the final 20 minutes after keeping pace with Baylor during the first half.
No. 17 Wisconsin 68, Michigan 64
MADISON, Wis. -- Bronson Koenig scored 16 points as the Badgers held off the Wolverines.
Koenig scored 13 points in the second half to help Wisconsin rally from an eight-point deficit. Vitto Brown and Nigel Hayes scored 13 points apiece for the Badgers (15-4, 4-1 Big Ten), who won their second straight.
Zak Irvin scored 20 points for Michigan (12-7, 2-4), which lost its fifth in a row to Wisconsin. Derrick Walton Jr. had 15 points.
No. 21 Purdue 91, Illinois 68
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Isaac Haas scored 24 points and grabbed six rebounds, and Caleb Swanigan recorded 22 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Boilermakers.
Purdue (15-4, 4-2 Big Ten) established a 14-point halftime lead before dominating the final 20 minutes, building a 27-point lead on a Haas dunk with 8:26 remaining. The Boilermakers also got 14 points from Carsen Edwards, 11 from Vince Edwards and 10 from P.J. Thompson.
The Fighting Illini (12-7, 2-4) received 15 points from Maverick Morgan and 12 from Malcolm Hill but could not contend with the 7-foot-2 Haas and the 6-8 Swanigan. Illinois shot 40.3 percent from the field while Purdue made 60.4 percent.
