BERKELEY, Calif., Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Jordan Adams had 28 points Wednesday and No. 25 UCLA cruised past Cal 86-66.
Adams also tallied six rebounds and five steals in the Bruins' (21-5, 10-3 Pac-12) fourth consecutive victory.
Travis Wear added 13 points for UCLA and Kyle Anderson scored 11 points and had nine rebounds.
Cal (17-9, 8-5) was led b Jordan Matthews, who scored 16 points. The Golden Bears had 11 points from Jabari Bird.
UCLA was in control the entire night. The Bruins led 44-32 at halftime and remained in control after the break. Cal got within nine early in the second half; however UCLA took off on a run capped by Adams's jumper, which made it 61-44 with 13:18 to play.
