COL BKB: St. Louis 64, Virginia Commonwealth 62

ST. LOUIS, Feb. 15 (UPI) -- Dwayne Evans had 21 points and 10 rebounds Saturday, guiding No. 12 St. Louis to its 17th straight victory, a 64-62 win over Virginia Commonwealth.

Rob Loe and Jordair Jett each recorded 12 points and four assists for the Billikens (23-2, 10-0 A-10) who extended their school-record winning streak.

Loe netted a free throw with 10 seconds left for a 64-60 lead. Virginia Commonwealth's Juvonte Reddic narrowed the deficit on a tip-in with less than a second left, but that was all the closer the Rams would get.

VCU (20-6, 8-3) got 16 points from Treveon Graham but came up short for a second loss in nine games.

Reddic finished with 13 points and nine rebounds.
