Feb. 11, 2014 at 10:00 PM

AUSTIN, Texas, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Javan Felix netted 27 points Tuesday and No. 19 Texas romped over struggling Oklahoma State 87-68 in a Big 12 Conference contest.

Isaiah Taylor added 16 points as the Longhorns (19-5, 8-3 Big 12) took advantage of the absence of Oklahoma State's Marcus Smart, who sat out in the first of a three-game suspension.

Smart was sanctioned for shoving a Texas Tech fan in the Cowboys' loss last week in Lubbock, Texas.

Cameron Ridley had a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Le'Bryan Nash pumped in 23 points for the Cowboys (16-8, 4-7), who dropped a fifth straight and sixth in seven games.

Markel Brown supplied 18 points and three steals.
