SAN DIEGO, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Xavier Thames scored 17 points Saturday, igniting fifth-ranked San Diego State over Nevada 73-58 for a 20th straight victory.

Thames also handed out five assists and Winston Shepard put in 16 points for the Aztecs (20-1, 9-0 MWC), who haven't lost since bowing to Arizona Nov. 14.

Josh Davis pitched in with nine points and seven rebounds.

The Wolf Pack (12-12, 7-4) were led by Jerry Evans Jr. with 17 points.

Cole Huff and Deonte Burton each added 11.
