COL BKB: Pittsburgh 62, Virginia Tech 57 (2OT)

PITTSBURGH, Feb. 8 (UPI) -- Cameron Wright scored 18 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead 22nd-ranked Pittsburgh past Virginia Tech 62-57 in double overtime Saturday.

Pitt (20-4, 8-3 ACC) outscored the Hokies (8-15, 1-10) 10-5 in the final OT period and won its second consecutive game.

James Robinson scored 16 points for the Panthers. Josh Newkirk added 11.

Jarell Eddie led Virginia Tech with 15 points. Devin Wilson had 10 points and Cadarian Raines came off the bench to score eight points and snag 11 rebounds.

Virginia Tech led 48-44 with 41 seconds to play in regulation but Robinson was fouled while shooting a 3-pointer with 36 seconds to play and then sank a free throw to tie the score and send the contest into overtime.
