ANN ARBOR, Mich., Feb. 6 (UPI) -- Kenny Kaminski hit five of Michigan State's 12 3-pointers Thursday and the No. 8 Spartans easily subdued Penn State 82-67.
Michigan State moved back into a share of the Big Ten Conference lead with Michigan.
The Spartans took a 16-point halftime lead and went on to bounce back from a non-conference loss to Georgetown last weekend.
Kaminski finished with 19 points, Gary Harris added 14 for Michigan State and Adreian Payne had 12. The Spartans reached 20-3 season and along with Michigan is 9-1 in the Big Ten. Iowa is in third place in league play at 6-3.
The Nittany Lions (12-11, 3-7 Big Ten) were led by 22 points from Tim Frazier.
Michigan State's 12 field goals from long range came on 23 shots.
