COL BKB: Michigan 75, Purdue 66

ANN ARBOR, Mich., Jan. 30 (UPI) -- Nik Stauskas paced Michigan to a 60-percent shooting effort Thursday and the No. 14 Wolverines stayed unbeaten in the Big Ten by downing Purdue 75-66.

Michigan made half of its 14 shots from 3-point range and recorded five blocks in winning its 10th game in a row. The Wolverines led by as many as 14 in the closing minutes with Stauskas scoring 16 points.

Chris LaVert and Derrick Walton, Jr., both had 14 for the Wolverines (16-4, 8-0 Big Ten). Michigan State is second in the Big Ten race at 8-1 and every other team in the league has at least three losses.

Purdue scored the same number of field goals as did Michigan, but needed 19 more attempts to do so. The Boilermakers went 2-of-14 from long range.

A.J. Hammons scored 16 points for Purdue (13-8, 3-5 Big Ten).
