Johnny O'Bryant led the Tigers (13-6, 4-3 SEC) with 29 points and Shayon Coleman and Jordan Mickey both scored 14.
O'Bryant went 12-of-20 from the field and LSU shot 50.8 percent from the field compared to Kentucky's (15-5, 5-2) 43.8 percent.
James Young paced the Wildcats with 23 points and Dakari Johnson came off the bench to rack up 15 points. Aaron Harrison scored 14, saving his best for late in the game with three 3-point buckets in the final minute of play.
LSU led 42-36 at halftime and outscored Kentucky at the free-throw line 26-13 over the entire game.
