LINCOLN, Neb., Jan. 20 (UPI) --
Shavon Shields provided 18 points with nine rebounds for Nebraska Monday and the Cornhuskers sent 15th-ranked Ohio State to a fourth straight loss, 68-62.
Terran Petteway also scored 18 points for the Cornhuskers (9-8, 1-4 Big Ten), who cleaned up at the free-throw line en route to their first win over the Buckeyes since joining the Big Ten.
Ohio State (15-4, 2-4), meanwhile, extended its longest skid in nearly six years after managing to shoot just 39.6 percent from the field.
Aaron Craft led the Buckeyes with 12 points.
