COL BKB: Wichita State 72, Missouri State 69 (OT)

SPRINGFIELD, Mo., Jan. 11 (UPI) -- Cleanthony Early keyed a rally with 22 points and 14 rebounds Saturday and No. 6 Wichita State stayed unbeaten with a 72-69 overtime win over Missouri State.

The Shockers (17-0, 4-0 MVC) needed extra time to overcome a 19-point deficit and remain among the four undefeated teams left in NCAA Division I, along with Arizona, Syracuse and Wisconsin.

Fred VanVleet put in 16 points and Ron Baker added 15 as Wichita State erased a 54-35 Missouri State lead with less than 12 minutes left in regulation.

The Bears (13-4, 2-2) was paced by Jamar Gulley with 15 points and 14 rebounds.

Austin Ruder netted 17 points and Marcus Marshall added 15.
