LAWRENCE, Kan., Jan. 11 (UPI) -- Freshman Andrew Wiggins broke out of a slump with 22 points Saturday, igniting No. 20 Kansas over Kansas State 86-60.

Wiggins, who had suffered from poor shooting in his previous five games, connected on 7-of-13 shots from the field Saturday as the Jayhawks (11-4, 2-0 Big 12) posted a seven straight win over intrastate rival Kansas State.

They improved to 187-91 all-time over the Wildcats, whose 10-game winning streak was snapped.

Wayne Selden chipped in 20 points for Kansas.

Nino Williams led KSU (12-3, 2-1) with 12 points.
