DURHAM, N.C., Jan. 7 (UPI) --
Rodney Hood pumped in 27 points Tuesday and 13th-ranked Duke got back on the winning track with a 79-57 victory over Georgia Tech.
Hood drained five 3-pointers for the Blue Devils (12-3, 1-1 ACC), who rebounded after a Saturday loss to Notre Dame.
Quinn Cook (13 points), Jabari Parker (12), Rasheed Sulaimon (11) and Andre Dawkins (10) each reached double figures as Duke spread out the scoring in earning a sixth win in seven games overall.
The Yellow Jackets (9-6, 0-2) were led by Marcus Georges-Hunt with 18 points.
