WACO, Texas, Jan. 3 (UPI) -- Taurean Prince led the way with 15 points Friday and No. 9 Baylor wrapped up the non-conference portion of its season by coasting past Savannah State 80-50.

The Bears (12-1), whose only loss thus far came against Syracuse in November, will open its Big 12 campaign next Tuesday at Iowa State.

Baylor made 55 percent of its shots from the field and committed only 10 fouls, allowing Savannah State just four trips to the free-throw line.

Prince made 4-of-6 from the field and was backed up by 13 points from Cory Jefferson. Isaiah Austin and Rico Gathers had 11 each.

Joshua Montgomery scored 15 points for the Tigers (2-12) and was the only Savannah State player in double figures.
