ST. LOUIS, Dec. 21 (UPI) -- Tracy Abrams drained a pair of free throws with 4.6 seconds left Saturday, boosting Illinois over previously unbeaten No. 25 Missouri 65-64.
Abrams finished with 22 points and Jon Ekey knocked down a late 3-pointer for the Illini (10-2), who snapped a four-game losing streak in the Braggin' Rights rivalry series against the Tigers.
Missouri (10-1) had taken late leads on 3-point shots by Earnest Ross and Jabari Brown before losing in the closing seconds.
Jordan Clarkson scored 25 points but couldn't handle the in-bounds pass following Abrams' foul shots, sealing the Tigers' first loss of the season.
