COL BKB: Wisconsin 86, Eastern Kentucky 61

MADISON, Wis., Dec. 14 (UPI) -- Ben Brust pumped in 20 points Saturday and No. 6 Wisconsin continued the best start in school history with an 86-61 pounding of Eastern Kentucky.

Nigel Hayes contributed 17 points for the unbeaten Badgers (12-0), who set the mark for most wins starting a season dating back to the basketball program's modern founding in 1946.

Wisconsin used 15 first-half points from Sam Dekker to pull away for the victory.

Frank Kaminsky overcame a foot injury to add 13 points, six rebounds and four assists.

The Colonels (7-4) were paced by Glenn Cosey with 21 points.
