MEMPHIS, Dec. 13 (UPI) -- Joe Jackson and Shaq Goodwin dominated the second half Friday to rally No. 15 Memphis to a 73-59 win over Arkansas-Little Rock.
The Tigers avoided what would have been a huge upset by overcoming a seven-point halftime deficit.
Memphis (7-1) won its sixth in a row, getting 17 points from both Jackson and Goodwin. The Tigers shot just 40 percent and went 7-of-23 from 3-piont range.
Geron Johnson added 13 points and six rebounds for Memphis, which outscored the Trojans in the second half 49-28.
Arkansas-Little Rock (3-6) was led by 17 points by Josh Hagins.
