SYRACUSE, N.Y., Dec. 3 (UPI) --
Trevor Cooney scored 21 points Tuesday and No. 5 Syracuse clamped down on defense in the second half of its 69-52 win over No. 23 Indiana.
Tyler Ennis supplied 17 points, eight assists seven rebounds and four steals for the Orange (8-0), who held the Hoosiers without a field goal during a 12-minute span after the break.
C.J. Fair chipped in 15 points and four rebounds as Syracuse racked up a 47th straight non-conference home win.
Indiana (6-2) was paced by Noah Vonleh with 17 points.
